Anchal Vohra is a multi-lingual foreign correspondent covering the Middle East, South Asia, and Germany. She is based in Beirut and is a TV correspondent for Al Jazeera English and a writer on the Middle East for Foreign Policy magazine. She also contributes to The Times, The Telegraph and The Atlantic.
Over the last 14 years as a journalist, she has reported extensively from Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Turkey, Israel and Palestine, India, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, and a number of other countries. She has also worked as Deutsche Welle English’s Lebanon Correspondent.
She has covered conflicts from Kabul to Kashmir, Syria to Palestine and focused on holding the powerful accountable. Her investigative stories have been raised in the German and in the Indian parliament. While she enjoys the rush of daily news, she persistently chases exclusives.
